Homework—February 18, 2021 Spatter

I used a variety of methods to splatter color and water randomly on the page, then added ink with a fountain pen.

 
Here, I did a quick line and wash and added white gouache splatters to remind myself not to wear black on baking day.

    Were those random splatters and then tied them together with the ink lines?

      Exactly! First the splatters, then the ink to tie it together.
