Thus is that dried up sunflower that I was trying to show in class. It seemed to me to be a thing with a lot of lines so I used raw and burnt sienna pencils. I wet the tips and drew with them.

I'll be interested in seeing how it comes out. Watercolor pencils intrigue me, but I've never really fallen in love with them. They seem too fiddly for the result. I may have to try them again.
