Three seagulls

I took my biannual equinox photo a few weeks ago.

Inspecting it closely I noticed these three seagulls at the upper left.

I thought I would make them the subject for a bird painting.  I decided to move them to the left side because I like the building better and maybe make their shapes more definite.

But it didn't come out to well,  Rather than give up on it, I decided to make a mosaic painting out of it.

I think the painting looks better, but now you can barely make out the seagulls.
