I'm guessing this is Elaine. I like the way the tree departs from its fellows and reaches across the stream, also like its rough irregular shape. Is that really rough paper that it is painted on?
ReplyDeleteIt's cold press, but on the rough end of cold press, I think. Somehow, the photo really caught the bumps on the paper this time.

ReplyDeleteThe rough surface of the paper lets the background be in one world and the foreground in another world that is more defined.
